Hey, Pre-revenue techie!

For tech startups, there are two options: if you are post revenue, then revenue based pricing will apply. If you are pre-revenue, expense based pricing will apply (as above). Our pricing is flat. We don’t charge on the numbers of transactions in your account or the number of invoices you upload. For expense based pricing, we don’t consider salaries as an expense.

Pricing tiers are determined based on annual run rate and may be adjusted quarterly if you are a fast growing company. All prices are based on financial years and are annual contracts.

For the Monthly plan, instead of annual billing, you can choose to pay month to month for an extra charge of 10% per month. For example, the $100/mo billed annually, will be billed as $110 billed month to month. On the Monthly plan, the first month free is available for new sign ups.

Counto is a bookkeeper, tax agent, financial advisor and more. Counto has its own accounting software. If you’re using a legacy software like Xero, MYOB or Quickbooks, and want to keep your account, Counto  will establish a push from the general ledger of Counto to your Xero/Quickbooks account. We currently do not have a sync facility with MYOB. And if you want to cancel your Counto account, you can take your data with you and we will assist you in the migration to Xero/MYOB/Quickbooks.

An in-house accountant might be doing lot more than accounting and, sometimes, taxes. These operations can be taken over by Counto, saving your accountant at least 10 days a month. Plus, our approach of AI plus humans minimises errors and frees up over a week of your accountant’s time for other valuable work.

Yes! Your plan includes live support. You may initiate a chat with us using the chat bot on our website anytime. Alternatively, you may reach us through email service and our customer service hotline. Outside of normal business hours, our team typically responds in a few hours or less. Cash bookkeeping only looks at when money enters or leaves a bank account. Accrual bookkeeping is a more sophisticated approach that records when the money was earned or owed. Most larger companies use accrual and Counto does accrual from day one on a monthly basis so there’s no painful transition later.
